An awesome 80s party with homemade banners, posters, centerpieces, balloons, and everything 80s is a totally tubular celebration theme.
Why buy 80s party decorations when the possibility of making one’s own homemade 80s banners and other decorations is well…possible. Cut out 80s text or use clip art 80s text images from card stock or poster board. Place the text on a background, which can be 80s’ish 80s patterns paint or cut from construction paper on. Cut individual squares from card stock paper and place the text on top of the card stock by gluing or tape the text on. Once the squares are complete with all the fancy designs, punch holes in the sides of the card stock papers and tie together using ribbon, string or even brightly colored 80s shoelaces (Why not?).
80s homemade banners can be greeting but they could also be pictures tie together of 80s musicians actors, movies, pop culture items, and the entire embodiment of what made the 80s the most rad decade of all-time. Print the images on card stock, something durable and not regular sheets of paper. Once the images are printed, string together with string, ribbon or shoelaces as well. More sophisticated type of 80s banners is using a photo editing program to implement the celebrants face on popular 80s movie posters.
For those 80s parties that are more child oriented opt for 80s cartons when making the 80s banner. String together 80s cartoons and allow the celebrant to color in the pictures.
