Christmas Party Planning
Christmas is a special day and so should the party planning be. The Christmas tree and Santa are the bearers of the torch of Christmas. Celebrate this day by keeping various themes for your party. Choose a theme like a White Christmas with everyone dressed in white and the decoration of the tree also in white trinkets and bells and stars.
Have a Carnival as a party planning theme with your house decorated and lighted up as a carnival with craft workshops for the children that they can make Rudolph noses, holly sprigs, stars and bells. Make all kinds of stuff that everyone can wear and they also parade and visit the neighbours.
Then for a unique party planning idea, try the medieval ambience with your house dressed up as a cellar with flickering torch lights. The guests should come dressed as medieval kings, and Knights and Queens. These costumes are easily available at some special stores.
Another theme can be one which is funny with everyone dressed as clowns. This is good for Children’s Christmas parties.
Decorate the house with ribbons, mistletoe, holly sprigs, stars and bells. The Christmas décor must match the theme you have picked up. Use lighting in a special way making it gay and holy at the same time.
The Christmas cake must be cut right at the end. The roast turkey and other special roasts will definitely have to be there with snacks for children in the shape of bells and stars, could be nice. Then you can have Santa chocolates and tree shaped cookies for the kids. Also decorate the walls with the nativity scenes, to bring that special ambience to the room.
You can try the Reindeer theme, a Scottish theme, or have the Under waters as a theme with corals and sponges made of paper and plasticine on the walls and seaweed crawling up the walls made with green felt or crepe paper with blue lighting. This will be exciting for children.
Arrange hats and trinkets and utility items for the parents as favors. That lends an air of its own, and everyone is grateful.
Have a merry Christmas this year.
