Class reunions are a time to reflect on where we are in life, how much we have matured, and to show off to everyone else that you’re much better off than them… Class reunion party planning can be as simple or as complicated as you wish it to be. Should you wish for a simple event to just reminisce and catch up on the past you may only need some food, light decorations, and background music. Or you could to be a bit fancier and recapture that old school cheer in your guests.
The basics of a plan are, well basic. You must first identify what you want and who you will be working with. You want a class reunion party, and you will be working with old classmates as guests. That is simple enough. Next, you should find a location to hold this party; it should be big enough for all the guests and supplies. Ideally your reunion would be on the anniversary of the graduation, maybe within a couple of weeks if scheduling is a problem. Don’t forget to provide some light music as well. Light rock tends to be a good choice here, but classical music will work to.
Finally, you will need plenty of supplies and decorations. For decorations most of the common choices are banners, streamers, table covers, some party favors, paper chains, and so on. You will need some basic food stuffs as well. If there will be a lot of guests, you will want to have a buffet style dinner. Having punch and pizza set out with plates, cups, napkins, and forks should work. |
