Corporate Party Planning
Corporate party planning means that you'll most likely have to create a affair on a big budget for a large number of people. Guests to your corporate party are likely to be employees, CEOs, managers, clients and friends and family of such. So, it will be a varied number of people from differing walks of life. All of them are likely to expect your corporate party to be among the better celebrations of the year.
Consider hiring a caterer with wait staff for this event to give it a more professional, elegant feel. They can circulate amongst the guests with appetizers and drinks and help keep the costs down compared to an actual sit down dinner. Of course, you can always go that route too, especially if your corporate event tends to involve end of year speeches, presentations and awards. Make sure you get a venue that is capable of seating all of your guests at tables with enough room for your wait staff to maneuver through the dining area. If your party is going to involve speeches you may also need to look for an area with a stage too.
Use nice table cloths, napkins and real silverware, glasses and dishes for the event even they are the cheap versions. People will notice that you used real instead of paper and plastic. This also means that you'll either need the caterer to provide the dishware and cleaning and dish washing services or you'll need a space to wash and dry the serving ware. Preferably, this will be a small kitchen.
Keep in mind when party planning that guests will enjoy a simple and elegant affair. They'll like good food, a real catered experience and professional wait staff. |
