Party Planning for your young guests for a Dora the Explorer themed party is a ton of fun. You can do party planning around the theme of English and Spanish. Take this theme into everything you do from decorations, to food, to games!
First, establish what games you will want to play. This could be trivia games, guessing what a word is in Spanish, or English and more. You can also have a Dora the Explorer scavenger hunt that can take place inside and out. Put the children on an adventure throughout many areas to increase the fun they have. Along the way, they can encounter many things such as obstacle courses, friendly animals and more. Give them a map to make it even more exciting and a book to log there adventures; do not forget the back pack to hold everything in.
Your party planning can include Dora the Explorer decorations that are labeled such as poster board cutouts of the characters and labeled in the English and Spanish version. You can also label the food that will be out on the table in English and Spanish along with the paper cups, paper plates, napkins, party hats and more. You can make it a party experience and a learning experience in one!
At the end of the party, do not forget to send your guests home with some sort of party favor. A cute Dora the Explorer backpack such as the one they went on the scavenger hunt with would be great but a small goody bag full of candy and other prizes would work just fine too! |
