If you love Earth Day, then Oahu, Hawaii, is the place to visit. Why not enjoy a day that celebrates the earth in a place renowned for its natural beauty, as well as its rich cultural heritage.
Oahu is a place of endless beauty; one probably could spend an entire day walking the length of Waikiki Beach, exploring the aquatic wonders of Waimea Bay, or visiting local historical sites such as Iolani Palace or the USS Missouri exhibit. Day cruises, guided tours, and bike expeditions are additional ways that people like to experience the marvels of this tropical land.
On Earth Day, however, an Oahu tourist might choose to focus instead on the flora and fauna that truly distinguish the Hawaiian landscape. They’ll definitely want to see a blossoming sample of the yellow hibiscus, Hawaii’s state flower, and the golden yellow lima, Oahu’s official bloom. They will want to see and sniff the pearl pink cottage roses and pure white kukui blossoms which also distinguish Hawaiian landscapes.
On Earth Day, tourists can find divine inspiration in the sights and sounds of Oahu; one look at these naturally beautiful, well-maintained lands could motivate them to spearhead and participate in their environmental preservation efforts back home, transforming their hometowns into their own private paradise.
They also can find a really good party, one of their own making! An Earth Day party in Oahu should come complete with a variety of primo party supplies, including lavish floral centerpieces that feature a lush selection of Hawaiian native flowers, along with floral print plates and cups; a banner or some wall art emblazoned with the image of a Hawaiian sunset; miniature hula girl and guy bobble heads at every place setting; and, of course, leis for everyone!
An amazing place to visit for Earth Day is Oahu, Hawaii; the place that the father of our country called home.

* Earth Day is held each year in the United States on April 22nd.
* The international Earth Day is on the Vernal Equinox (around March 21st.)
* The day can be celebrated with a party using entirely recyclable materials.
* Serve drinks in aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles. Pizza out of cardboard boxes is a great food, especially at a school party.
* Serve your guests on regular silverware and plates rather than Styrofoam or the plastic coated paper ones which don’t recycle well.
* Set up marked recycling containers for the guests to place their trash.
* Little kids can decorate brown paper grocery bags and turn them into masks as an activity at the party.
* Use markers, glue, and even food items like dried macaroni noodles in the decoration, anything that is recyclable or that will biodegrade naturally in the environment.
* Activity for the kids - plant a seed so they can take it home to watch it grow. You’ll need to save up your smaller heavy paper egg cartons, not the Styrofoam ones. The small ones usually only hold four to six eggs and are perfect for incubating four to six seedlings. You’ll also need a variety of seeds, preferably the bigger types like lima beans and pumpkins which are easier for kids to handle, and a bag of dirt. Give each of the kids an egg carton and let them choose their own variety of seeds or a couple varieties and help them plant. At the end of the party they can take their planted seeds home with simple growing instructions and watch them grow into seedlings.
* Lead a brigade down to the local park or river and pick up trash that has piled up or plant flowers, plants and other trees native to the area.
