Elmo Party Planning
Elmo Party Planning Guide
Party planning for an Elmo party should be looked at as fun and learning. Elmo teaches children in everything they do while they are having fun and that is what you will want to try and capture. Depending on the age group of children you will be throwing the party for, games and crafts will vary.
For a toddler crowd, working with letters and numbers might be the best option. For example, you can do a game that revolves around counting to three. Put a variation on red light, green light by saying one, two three. When the counter gets to three, they need to freeze. You can also do the same with A-B-C. For older kids, you can use addition or odd and even numbers. For example, you tell an older child that he or she cannot move unless an even number is called out and when an odd number is called out, they stop moving. Whoever moves on an odd number has to go back to the beginning of the line.
For a craft, you can make stuffed Elmo’s with older kids and then felt Elmo faces with younger kids. For the younger children, has pre-cut Elmo faces that they can decorate with glitter glue, markers, stickers and more. When they are dry, you can add them to the goody bags you will send the children home with. You can also include snacks, candy and other Elmo toys in your goody bags as well to end on an Elmo party note! |
