Create the best firemen party there ever was by making homemade invitations, banners, centerpieces, party favors, thank you notes and other party decorations.
To make a fireman banner begin by selecting various images of fireman and firefighting in general such as trucks, hats, fire hydrants, Dalmatians, and firemen symbols. These images and more can be found as clip art images that can easily be printed in color or in black and white form. Printing clip art images in black and white on card stock paper gives the celebrant a reason to get involved in the decoration process and coloring in each of the card stock images.
Alternatives for those who may not have a printer can use basic clip art images as templates and draw them on card stock or construction paper for a simple homemade fireman banner. Use markers, colored pencils, crayons, and other art supplies to create firemen drawings.
Include warm welcome (no pun intended) to the party guests with a homemade firemen banner also. Print out lettering from clip art text and cut out. Use red, yellow, black, and white paper for the text. Welcome greetings for a firemen party may include One Hot Party, (insert name) Fire House # (age of the celebrant).
Hanging several plastic fireman helmets from a rope also makes for a creative homemade banner. Not all children who love firefighters growing will become one but for this celebration everyone is a little firefighter.
