Flag Day Party Planning
The Flag Day is celebrated on June 14th and many people celebrate this day by party planning and arranging barbeques on this important occasion. Fill it up with Barbeque chicken, hot dogs, ribs and steaks of all sorts as well as hamburgers, salad, puddings, hamburger, jelly-o, potato salad and also muffins and your favorite cake maybe decorated with the colors of the flag.
For pudding Tapioca pudding will be nice. It is made with milk, tapioca, egg, and vanilla. You boil the milk and egg and then add the tapioca and let it boil. Then add vanilla and let it cool. Then you can add in other fruits and top up with whipped cream and a cherry.
Make a simple fruit salad with a few of your yumptious fruits cut and assembled in a bowl. Then add sugar and spray in some lime juice or whipped cream to top it.
If you do party planning in advance you can also invent several games, like drawing an outline of the flag with some things drawn. Then the children have to come and fill in the blanks, completing the flag. Everyone will sing the National Anthem with due respect.
Other games can be drawing the flag on a cemented area with powder colors and putting candles all around it. The children can also wear dresses that resemble stars and stripes and make this as an ensemble of colors of the flag, with that design.
There are several other games possible like variations on Hide and Seek and the Musical Chairs and several others.
You can create a fun activity in which children can learn about flags of other countries and draw flags and color them and then ask each other which flag represents which country and sing national anthems of as many countries as they can.
You can also design T-shirts with the flag stars and stripes and give then away as favors when the party has broken up.
