Garden Party Planning
Nothing celebrates summer like a garden party and party planning for this event certain to be fun. For those hosts that have their own back yard and even gardens, summertime is bound to be a time of happy outdoors events with friends and family. Guests will enjoy your party all the more with the blooms of the season surrounding them.
You don't need a particular reason to hold a Garden party. It's just a good way to get together with friends. As such, there's no need to go all out with party supplies. Just a few paper napkins will do, along with plates, cups and utensils. A tablecloth can help dress up your outdoor tables, while tiki torches or outdoor lights can provide lighting well after dark. During the day though, it's okay to make do with the bare necessities.
In the realm of party planning, food for your event is important too. The guests will enjoy some lighter fare because it is the summertime and plenty hot outside. A nice long island iced tea will refresh the guests, while any kids at the party can enjoy regular sweetened iced tea or kool aid. A garden salad can display any fruits from your own veggie patch if you have one. While, a standard chef salad can serve guest's appetites later in the evening.
Don't forget the citronella candles or mosquito spray before your event. Those little bugs can make any party unbearable. Keep the dogs and cats indoors too. Fido and Fifi may be well behaved but a group of people and good food can prove too great a lure to resist. Other than that, your guests should have a great time. |
