Graduation Party Planning
Graduation is a special day for a student, where they get to escape from the evil clutches of school. Not all graduations are permanent though as there are several more levels of school to suffer through. Even so, graduation parties tend to be more for the sake of others, like parents than the actual graduates. That is why when graduation party planning, it is best to keep in mind that the lucky graduate will tend
to want to run away and be free on their own, the party is for you and the other guests.
Now, when to schedule your graduation party is a tricky question. The graduation itself would seem like a good choice, as it would already have everybody there, and is the point most people are the happiest about. The downside to this is that it is a party after a party, so everyone is tired and you have less time available. Who you want to invite is another tricky question, graduations tend to have limited tickets available. Close friends and family are advisable. If you held your party separately from the ceremony these restrictions will not apply.
Now, you will also need supplies. Most everything you can think of has a graduation themed version lying around, especially at this time of the year. There are also a great many graduation specific items made. My personal favorite was a pack of bubble blowers in graduation hats, great fun. Banners, streamers, confetti, talking stuffed owls, and more are all great decorations for a graduation party. Don't forget the food and drinks, plates, cups, utensils, napkins, etc. Make sure to have fun. |
