Are you ready for a truly awesome, not gruesome Halloween? We all know Halloween isn't just for kids anymore. In fact, more and more adults, young and old are celebrating this fun holiday.
And why not? With all the fun to be had and your special flair, yours could be the extravaganza everyone looks forward to each Halloween. And with our fun tips, all your guests are sure to ask if you're doing it again next year!
Halloween is a great time to meet new friends and posssibly even snag a date if you're single. It's amazing with all the laughter about Halloween costumes going on, how everyone loosens up and finds it easy to start conversations with others. So the first thing you must do is ask that all your guests come in costume.
Next on the agenda? Set the mood. With all the ghosts, goblins, and witches available from the Halloween party supplies internet stores. You'll have such fun clicking away to help make your event eerie, scary, and beautiful all at the same time! Strategically placed webs with large black spiders will be really effective, and make sure you have jack-o-lanterns lining the walkway and greeting visitors at the door. A fun idea that will make the party interactive is to ask everyone to bring a carved pumpkin, and you supply the candles. It's a great ice breaker, wll make the room seem even more magical (once they're all lit) and you can always come up with a prize for the scariest, or most creative pumpkin. Better yet, give everyone a fabulous party favor to help them remember the event and thank them for their help in decorating.
As far as your menu goes, you can provide the food or do it potluck style, just make sure you ask for specific dishes from your guests so your menu flows. And lastly, if you want to be the "hostess with the mostest", plan on serving a haunted signature cocktail. A great one to try is the "Zombie" No worries about your crowd being lively after they've tasted this rum based concoction!
