Halloween is a time of thrills, chills and of course homemade party banners! Make any Halloween holiday even more festive with the addition of these fun, spooky banners.
Handmade party banners for a Halloween celebration should include all of the fun symbols that one typically associates with All Hallow’s Eve. These could include smiling jack o’lanterns, scarecrows, black cats, haunted houses, ghosts, vampires, bats, zombies, werewolves, etc.
In fact, several of these same symbols could be combined in a scene-setting, homemade party banner for a Halloween festivity. This sign could depict a graveyard complete with ghosts and zombies; a pumpkin patch complete with a whimsical scarecrow; a ‘Monster Mash’ style party that features guest appearances from Dracula, the Wolf Man, etc.; or a haunted mansion set against the backdrop of a ‘dark and stormy night’ and a full moon; or, for the younger set, a neighborhood scene that features front yard scarecrows and lots of costumed trick or treaters.
For a more basic handmade party banner for a Halloween celebration, the host could post a simple sign boasting one or more of the colors typically associated with the holiday (i.e., black, orange, gold, etc.). Then she always could dress the banner up by pasting on some delightfully spooky party supplies such as rubber bats and cats, paper mache or foil pumpkins, decorative Halloween masks, tissue ghosts, monster claws, etc.
