A Harry Potter party planner schedule is a fun and easy thing to do. In order to stay on track with your plans, be sure to write everything down and create a checklist. First, you will want to have Harry Potter decorations on your checklist. Be sure to include dusty books, lightning bolts, wizard wands and more on top of the themed Harry Potter norms such as your matching plates, cups napkins and tablecloths.
You will then want to make sure you have a menu selected in your party planning checklist. This should include the main meal, snakcs and finger foods as well as dessert and drinks. A fun drink you can prepare is Butterbeer. Do this by combining ½ tablespoon of butter and ½ cup of butterscotch syrup and microwave on high for about a minute or minute and a half. After it is done in the microwave, let it cool for 30 seconds and then add in 1 cup of club soda slowly. This recipe is for 2 drinks.
For the rest of the food, be sure to incorporate all sorts of different elements such as meatball eyes, dragon eggs (hard boiled eggs), sticks pretzels for wands and more. Even a normal food can have a Harry Potter twist to it by labeling it with a name recognized in the book.
After all the fun and games, it is important to send them home with party favors. This could be a craft they did by making their own wand, pumpkin cookies, candy, chocolate frogs or any other fun Harry Potter treat!
