Independence Day Party Planning
Independence Day is a national holiday and people are proud to celebrate this great day in their history with proper party planning.
Many barbeques, parties, political speeches, parades and picnics are organized on this day. Fireworks explode everywhere and people feel happy to be Americans and make no bones about it.
The theme for party planning should be patriotic with the national flag hoisted on your roof top and red, blue and white ribbons and streamers everywhere. Organize a band that will play the National anthem and patriotic songs for your guests. Advise your guests to wear the three colors on the flag with stars and stripes to add to the fervor.
For food, have star shaped cookies and chocolates wrapped in wrappers printed with the three colors. Also organize a dance-drama to heighten the effect which gives a brief of how America became what it is today and about the soldiers who lost their lives. Show them a film with the President’s speech on the day.
Everyone including the children can give a short speech saying what would they like to do for their country and how their personal goals match up with those of the country. Virtues like truth, bravery and honesty be talked of through stories told by some parents.
