Children love magic and what better type of party could there be than a magic party with all sorts of homemade party decorations such as banners, centerpieces, and fun magic tricks for guests to love. Magic relies heavenly on presentation rather than the magic trick itself so ensure the party is properly decorated as well.
Handmade banners can welcome guests to the party with the inclusion of the celebrants name. For example, John’s Night of Magic, John Presents the World of Magic, John The Magician: A Night of Wonder, Welcome To the World of Magic (John Productions) and so on. Cut out the text for the lettering using card stock paper. Glue the lettering on the squares, circles, or other shape card stock paper. String the card stock papers by punching holes through the corners and inserting pieces of string or ribbon. Use card stock to cut out various magician and magic symbols such as top hats, bunny rabbits, stars etc.
To really make the magic banner fit for a magical night use glitter, rhinestones and anything to make the homemade banner shine and shimmer. Banner paper can be used to make one large banner to cover an entire wall area. Cut out the text for the banner and apply the glitter using glue. Once the letters are dry tape the letters on the banner paper. Cut out hats, stars and other magic images and apply to the banner as well. Once the banner is completed, hang in the party area.
