Nautical Party Planning
Need Ideas on how to plan a Nautical Party? Well, it's easy to set sail on that course when you use our Nautical Party planning guide. Nautical means boats, so we will be focusing on the ships and the sea. Things that come to mind when you say "boats, and sailing" are flags, fishing nets, wind, seagulls, lighthouse and docks. Use these ideas in your decorations. To enhance the boating theme experience, add some dress codes and costumes. Everyone should wear “navy” blue with sailors white stripes. Captains hat for the star of the party, sailors caps for the guests. You can even add a ship steering made out of cardboard. You may also buy a ships steering wheel and other boating decorations at your nearest party store. Light houses come to mind as well, so put up some pictures of lighthouses. Or better yet make a lighthouse shaped cake. As for games, try "Captain Says" (variation of simon says). Once you and your sailors are all tuckered out, it is time for some “sea stories”. Have one person start out by saying a sentence that has something to do with the sea, or fish or sailing. Then the person on their right, adds another sentence. Have a first mate write this all down in the captains log. After everyone has a chance to add on a sentence, you should end up with a fishy sailors story that everyone will be laughing at.
With all the ideas from our Nautical Party planning guide, it's time for you to set sail onto the perfectly planned Nautical Party adventure! Bon Voyage! |
