A homemade nautical banner is a great way to welcome guests to the Nautical theme party. Homemade decorations, such as banners, can easily be made with minimal supplies and ability. Use large sheets of paper, poster board, cardboard, cellophane, and craft foam to create a lovely Nautical banner guests will appreciate and enjoy. Use nautical theme items for the nautical banner such as helms, anchors, buoys, fish, seashells, treasure chests, and sailboats in blue, white, and red colors (colors that are common in nautical clothing). Cut the various shapes from cardboard or craft foam and tie together with ribbon, golden rope, or string. For example, cut out several anchors individually from the desired materials, and one cut, place the lettering on top of the anchor with glue or tape.
