To make an NFL Football handmade banner use large banner paper and paint on the lettering and other decorative designs on the banner. To ensure the lettering on the banners are done neatly, print out the letters needed to make the text and apply tracing paper over the letters. Use a pencil and trace the letters off of the paper. Flip the tracing paper over and trace over the lines. Flip the tracing paper back over to its original side and lay it on the banner paper. Then, trace over the trace lines and the pencil marks will show up on the banner. Tracing letters and football logos are recommended because it will ensure the letters and logo are laid on the large banner paper accurately. Once all the lettering and images are traced on the banner paper, begin outlining the letters and designs with paint or markers. Paint is recommended for large areas and markers for smaller, detailed areas.
NFL Football banners can be made from card stock as well. Find football related images and cut them out once printed on the card stock. Use clip art images for football images. Once the images are printed, apply a second layer of lettering in the middle of the images by cutting the letters from card stock or construction paper. When cut, apply the lettering over the images with tape or glue. Connect the images together by punching holes in the sides placing string or ribbon through the holes and securing.
