A fun theme party for a celebrant is an Olympic theme party equipped with homemade party supplies such as the centerpieces, party favors, and an Olympic rings banner. To make an Olympic rings banner print the individual circle of the various colors; red, yellow, blue, green, and black on card stock. Once the rings are printed on card stock, cut the rings from the paper with an exacto knife to cut the inside of the circle without having to fold the paper. Once the rings are cut, tape them together on the backs of the rings. To hang the Olympics rings banner, punch holes in the upper corners of the rings, two pieces of long string in each hole, and hang.
Homemade Olympic banners can also be made of the various Olympic games both at the summer and winter games. Use silhouettes from various sports such as basketball, track & field, skiing, wrestling rowing, weightlifting, gymnastics, beach volleyball, archery, tennis, and the other Olympic games. Print the sports game silhouettes in the Olympic games colors: red, yellow, blue, green, and black. Add decorative elements such as glitter to each of the individual silhouettes to give the banner some sparkler and shimmer (who says a banner has to be dull). Once the silhouettes are printed and decorated, punch holes in the sides of the silhouettes and hang together with Olympic color ribbons or strings. Banners do not have to be overly complicated but simple decorations to match any party theme.
