Oscar Party Planning
Oscar Party Planning
Party Planning for an Oscar celebration requires very little work for the amount of fun you and your guests will have. Typically, an Oscar party is in line with the night of the Oscar awards. If this is the case, you will want to make sure you have plenty of seating around a large television to actually view the show on. You will also want to make sure all of your party planning wraps up before the Oscars and resumes afterwards if applicable.
Before the night begins, have your guests drop off there ballet into a bowl for certain Oscar awards and who they think will win for each. After the awards, check to see who got the most correct and then award them with a prize. You can even keep track of who is in the lead during the show. Having someone designated to do this is best.
Be sure to have plenty of finger foods for your guests. They will not want to have a sit down meal more than likely and ten to one, you will not have time to complete a meal before the Oscars start. Pigs in a blanket, chicken fingers, snacks and more are all good choices. If you need something more filling, try adding pizza to your menu.
At the end of the night, send your guests home with a party favor; maybe an Oscar of their own! Have fun with your Oscar party planning and get creative with trivia games and more to get your guests excited about the event!
