Pink Travel Ideas
Whether it be for Valentine's Day or just to celebrate your favorite rosy color, you may have an urge to visit places inspired by the color pink. The color pink can even inspire you to throw a pink party with pink party supplies. Fortunately, New York City, America's busiest city, has plenty of pink places and attractions for the pink lover. If you like the color pink, this is a place to visit. If you have little girls, bring them along because they too will appreciate all the pink that NYC has to offer.
First off, visit the Pink Tea Cup in the West Village. This soul food restaurant features pink colored curtains, menus, pillows, tables, and other things. And appropriately enough, they also serve pink lemonade!
Next, head to the Eloise Shop in The Plaza Hotel shops. The shop is decorated in delightfully pink and girly décor, and centers around the childhood character Eloise. Kids can sit in the big beanbag chairs in the library and enjoy Eloise movies and books. Or they can visit the dress up room and model their favorite fashions. There's even a tea room where girls can sip tea in dainty pink teacups.
If you'd like to see a show, visit the Vital Children's theater to see the the long-running “Pinklalicious,” a play about a girl who will only eat pink cupcakes.
Lastly, take a visit to the pink Barbie house at Toys R Us in Time Square. This giant doll house replica is pretty in pink and is enough to inspire any little girl (or the little girl in all of us!).
There is certainly enough in New York to fill anyone's pink day. Maybe you'll even spot a few more pink hot spots to add to the list! More ideas for Pink
