Poker Party Planning
Poker Party Planning Guide
Planning a poker party does not require much time but can be a very fun event for adults that love the poker or gambling world.
Start off your party planning with the theme and decorations. You will want to incorporate reds, blacks and gold. You can also have a hint of silver and green if you want to add more colors. Be sure to create a warm and inviting space for your guests such as a casino.
When you setup the area, be sure to have either one large poker table or many smaller poker tables. This allows for guests to partake in games in mini rounds or as a large group. Be sure that the poker table is clear of any decorations, centerpieces, etc. A bare poker table is the best and with all the other decorating, might become a focal point in itself.
Supplies: Have multiple poker chip sets, decks of cards (2 per table) and a few other games as well. For those that might have kids along with them, be sure to have kid friendly games available whether they are board games or video games to keep them busy while the adults play poker.
Servers: Even though you may just be having a poker party at your house, have someone available to act as a server. This means they bring food and beverages to the guests as well as bring poker chips, etc. to the table if needed. This allows the games to flow freely and uninterrupted.
Overall, your Poker party planning should mainly include focusing in on making your guests feel comfortable and at ease.
