Homemade safari jungle banners can easily be made to welcome guests and create a safari jungle atmosphere children will absolutely love. How does one go about making homemade banners for such a theme party? Use various arts & crafts materials such as markers, paints, tissue paper (for tissue flowers that can be glued to the banner), construction paper, card stock, banner paper, pins, ribbon, and string. Print out various jungle animals such as cheetahs, monkeys, exotic birds, bugs, etc. from clip art images on card stock. Once the images are printed, cut off the excess paper (or leave on) and tie the images together by punching holes on the sides of the paper and tie together using a ribbon or string. Print out jungle leaves as well for a safari jungle theme banner. Hang the leaves around the party area. The more jungle aspects that can be implemented the better.
Other types of banners for a safari jungle theme party can be made from animal print bandanas. Fold the bandanas over the piece of rope or string and hang around the party area. Cut up the bandana into four squares and fold each square into a triangle and iron to get the creases. While more time consuming (but well worth the effort) tissue paper flowers can be made and used as a safari jungle banner. Printing various jungle flowers, tracing them on card stock, and coloring the jungle flowers in is an easy way to create a banner. Once the flowers are colored and cut from the card stock, tie together using ribbon. Allow the celebrant help with the homemade party decorations such as banners and other aspects as well.
