The key is to keep it a secret, so on the invitation say “call for password”. Have your guests be secret agents at the CSI/PSI (crime/party scene investigation) party. Have a sign on the entrance to the party say "TOP SECRET". Give the guests cool gadgets to play with like black sunglasses and walky talkies. For games send them out on a mission. Turn off the lights. The people “in on it” (the party planners), hide the presents and get into their places. Split everyone into teamsa and have them find the missing presents. Give each team a manila folder containing a top secret mission objective. Have “mission objectives” or clues lead to the location of the person holding the first present. That person will then give them a riddle to figure out where the next person and the present is. This goes on until the last present is found. Award them with badges for saving the day! Finish the award ceremony with cake!
