If you love the Superbowl, then Tampa, Florida, is the place to visit. The ultimate party city would be the perfect place for a primo football celebration.
Good weather is always needed to facilitate a fun, active Superbowl game; and in the city of sun, Tampa Bay, a hot, sun-soaked day is virtually guaranteed. Whether one is attending the game itself, or planning a beach or poolside party to celebrate the big game, guests can forsake their winter coats and snow hats for swim suits and shorts; and, of course, their Tampa Bay Buccaneers T-shirts.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Superbowl in 2003; coach Jon Gruden lead the team to victory in the famous Buccaneer stadium, a sprawling structure that boasts the likeness of a pirate ship at its entrance.
On a regular basis fans come to the stadium dressed in beads and pirate hats, leading waves and chants of “Tampa…Bay!” They bounce around inflatable balls that liken oranges, and feast on delicacies that range from fried gator (which they insist tastes just like chicken!:))to fresh brews of various brands. So just imagine enjoying the Superbowl with this wild crowd!
Furthermore, it’s very likely that a Tampa-based Superbowl celebration would extend far beyond the bounds of One Buc Place, the official address for the Buccaneers stadium. This is because the city of Tampa boasts literally hundreds of bars and night clubs; a perfect place for a pre- or after game party. The city also boasts a number of restaurants and even some theme parks.
Regardless of the specific site of one’s Tampa Bay Super Bowl party, one always should remember to bring some rockin’ party supplies. These could range from pirate-style flags, banners and table coverings that represent the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to juice cups shaped like Florida oranges.
