Tailgate Party Planning
Tailgate Party Planning Guide
Your party planning for your Tailgate party will begin with the most important elements first. These items include:
Vehicle: You cannot have a tailgating party without a vehicle! Everyone brings their own vehicle or go to the location in groups.
Equipment: Tailgating parties are designed to take place outside of a venue in the parking lot so be sure to bring portable grills, for barbequing, generators for power, plastic cups, plates and utensils. Also, do not forget to bring garbage bags to clean up your mess before you leave.
Music: If you want to include music, which most every tailgating party does, be sure you bring amplifiers and microphones so you are able to broadcast the music to a large area. Be sure to check with your local area to make sure this does not break any codes.
Small TVs: You will also want to bring small Televisions so you can watch the game. Do not worry about sound because you will be able to hear it from the stadium.
Beverages: Tailgating parties usually incorporate a lot of alcoholic beverages; especially beer. Make sure to have a variety of beer on hand but also other beverages to keep sustained such as water and sports drinks. Have sodas available for those that are designated drivers and for people that do not want to drink an alcoholic beverage.
Overall, your tailgating party planning should focus on things you will need when listening to the game from the parking lot. The most important factors are the food, beverage and utensils- the stadium atmosphere will provide the fun!
