Tea Party Planning
Need help figuring out how to plan a tea party? Don't worry, a tea party is easy...and we make it even easier with our Tea Party planning guide. You will need a tea set, consisting of cups, saucers, a sugar bowl, and a tea pot. You also should be aware that not everyone loves the idea of a tea party, but not everyone likes tea. If you are planning this tea party for a young one, they probably don't know what tea tastes like. In this case, have the "tea" be apple juice or a favorite drink. Put it in the tea pot to serve. A tea party also includes tea sandwiches, and tea cookies. A tea sandwich is simple, and not messy. Any ingredients that you want can be on the sandwich. tuna, bologna, anything that isn't likely to drip or try to fall out of the bread. To make sure you will have enough, make the equivalent of one sandwich for each guest, Then cut them into fourths, diagonal cuts are preferred, and the crusts should be cut off. Then allow the guests to eat whatever bits of sandwich they choose. But don’t forget the all important cucumber sandwich, (just a few thin slices of peeled cucumber with mayonnaise on white bread). Once you have all the ingredients, you then need a place to eat. Adding a table cloth to any table adds for an experience of elegance. If possible have the tea around a decorated table, with decorative chairs.
With your tea party planned with simplicity as advised by our Tea Party planning guide, it will be the most perfect tea time that will be remembered for a long time! |
