Texas Holdem Party Planning
Texas Holdem Party Planning Guide
Whether you are party planning for a few guests or many for your next Texas Holdem party, you will be able to incorporate all aspects of this guide.
Decorations: You can choose to have a western theme or a card theme. If you go with the western theme cowboy hats, lassos, hay bales and more are all part of the theme. You can get die cut images of these items and place them on the walls. You can also create a great centerpiece out of a western boot, some hay coming out of the top and a bandana ties around the top. If you choose to do the card theme, try gluing cards together and using them as wall decoration; this is an inexpensive way to make a large impact on the party surroundings.
Game Tables: Do not decorate the game tables too much because it will act as a distraction for those playing the game. Allow enough room for people to sit far enough apart where they cannot see each other’s cards but not too far where they cannot communicate effectively. If you are going to have more than one Texas Holdem playing table, be sure to space the table enough apart where they do not disturb one another.
Food and drinks: Having a person that is able to serve drinks and food during the event is very helpful because it helps maintain the flow of the party. When people get engrossed in Texas Holdem games, the last thing they want to do is stop. Having a person that is there to bring things to guests increases your guests experience.
