Western Party Planning
Howdy partner! Need help planning a western party? Well first you need to check out our Western Party planning guide. Then, round up your possee to see how many you have. Then you can figure out how much grub you need. Then decorate with cowboy boot cutouts, hats, ropes, cow skulls, and snakes. That’s all you folks need to throw the rootin’est, tootin’est hoe-down in the west, or wherever you may be.
One cool thing that we cow-folk like to do is watch our horses bob for apples,'cause it's the craziest thing you ever saw (seriously I have seen it myself). So put some apples in a barrel of water and have at it! Now, every now and then we get some unfriendly folk who want to have a show down at the crack of noon and we all duck when they say "draw". To prevent such things from happening to you, you can "draw" using Pictionary. This is a friendly way for your guests to “draw”. Panning for gold was something we did too. Using a long trough or a wide deep bucket filled with sand and water, (Before the party, add some shinny plastic gold beads to the sand). Give everyone a strainer, and start ‘em searchin’ for treasure. Have your guests sift the "gold" out and let them bring their finds on home with them. This will give everyone a "rush" of excitement.
