A work party usually has invitations already sent out telling about the date, time, and location of the event, so your handmade work party banner will need only to excite the guests at the party itself. It might be a special celebration, like a promotion for someone who has been with the company for many years. Or it might be a company picnic. It might be hung on a wall or a door, or at the picnic in the yard. Whatever the occasion, be sure that your party banner adds fun to it, so be sure it’s on your party supply list.
Since your homemade work party banner might show up in many photographs at the work party, make it colorful and bright, and above all easy to read. Lettering that is difficult to read is not enjoyable, and if there is a message your guests might not even get to the end of it. Simple, recognizable letters in an appealing font are preferable, and they will work out nicely. “Congratulations!” might be all that is needed on the banner. But even if this simple message is all you need, add to it with glitter, stars, and lots of color. If the background is white, the word “congratulations” can be in many different colors. If the background is red or navy blue, for example, your lettering will need more thought to be able to stand out against the darker background.
When celebrating a certain theme at work, like safety, for example, add icons that send the message clearly. Smiles always work, even if they are just smiling lips and teeth drawn around the message. Make it clever and fun, and the guests will remember your banner for a long time. |
