X Games Travel Ideas
Come July of this year Los Angles is the place to be if you love X Games then this is a place to visit. Los Angeles California usually has the idea weather for playing host to the X Games, in particular the summer edition of them, right at the end of July. Beyond the weather there are plenty of sights to see while taking in the X Games during that weekend and gathering party supplies for later. The cities name originates back to its days as Spanish colony when it was founded in 1781 by Spanish governor Felipe de Neve. The city has some great sites to see while in town such as; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood Sign and Hollywood Boulevard. All of these wouldn’t be there if not for the history of the city and its founding years ago. Los Angeles became part of Mexico in 1821 following the Mexican War of Independence. The X Games is a series of unique challenges, just like the treaty that resulted in the purchase of the California from Mexico in 1848 at the end of the Mexican-American War. The country would like a lot different if these certain events had not happen and so the X Games maybe played elsewhere in the United States. Need more to see and do while there, consider paying a visit to the Staples Center or Dodger Stadium to start with. Then there is the Capitol Records Tower and Hollywood Bowl or the shopping along Rodeo Drive. The X Games are no where near as old as the city of Los Angeles which was founded back late 1700’s, but didn’t start growing with any prominence until the mid to late 1800’s from the original 44 settlers, which had only grown to over 600 by the 1820’s. Need more to besides gather some party supplies for the X Games in the city of Los Angeles, then consider these options as well. Starting with a trip to Walt Disney Concert Hall, then a trip over to the Kodak Theatre during the day.
