Yu Gi Oh History and Facts
Yu-Gi-Oh first aired in the US in 2001. In just a few short years, this Japanese cartoon has become a multi-million dollar franchise. Cartoons, movies, comic books, trading cards and of course merchandise is everywhere, it seems. For parents planning a birthday party, this is great news. Yu-Gi-Oh merchandise, including party supplies and birthday cakes are available anywhere in the country. Keep the party theme atmosphere happening with Yu Gi Oh party supplies from invitations to decorations.
Yu-Gi-Oh themed invitations are available at many party stores and online. If you would prefer to make your own creative Yu-Gi-Oh invitations, simply tape trading cards to a blank note card. If easy release tape is used for this, the cards can be reused and brought to the party for an exciting card game.
Yu-Gi-Oh cakes can be purchased at many bakeries or larger grocery stores. Alternately, you may want to make your own Yu-Gi-Oh cake. If you are a whiz with icing, use a simple rectangular sheet cake and decorate it like your child’s favorite Yu-Gi-Oh trading card. You could also cut the distinctive spiky-haired silhouette of Yugi out of a basic sheet cake.
Rock out to the Yu Gi Oh themed birthday with Yu Gi Oh Party Games for a fun event. If you don’t already have them, be sure to rent or purchase some Yu-Gi-Oh episodes to play throughout the party. Decorations should play off the bright colors of the Japanese animation cartoon. You may want to clear a table for card duels. Leave plenty of room as many of the children will gather around to watch this. With an endless supply of merchandise, movies, comics and cards available, it seems Yu-Gi-Oh is everywhere.
